Siri – Set it up on your iPhone

Siri is a part and parcel of all Iphone devices. To sum up its work, it is a personal assistant to the users. It does everything that a personal assistant does for the users starting from making appointments to reminding the user of any important thing that might forget.

The best part of all this is that, Siri is voice command based. It does everything that you want it to do with only a few voice commands. But for using all this, you need to enable Siri on your Iphone. To do this, your system requirements needed must be iPhone 4S or the later versions.

And of course, an internet connection is needed along with that. Now, to enable your new personal assistant you have to first go to settings from the menu and then click on general. In general, you will find an option named- Siri.

Beside that option you will get a slider button. Slide it to ‘On’ and you have enabled Siri successfully. Now, to have a more personalized interaction with your new personal assistant, you have to see if the settings given below that option are upto your choice or not. To do that, first, choose the language preferred by you.

Then, check and select your voice feedback preferences. Following which you have to select your contact book profile. This is done so that Siri knows who you are and can also relate to your contact book when you ask it to do any work related to your relationships.

Last, but not the least, you have to decide if you want Siri to answer you when you call it or you want to summon it by pressing the buttons on your Iphone? If you want it to answer you whenever you call it, without having to press the button, then do not forget to allow the “Hey Siri” functionality of the settings or else you will have to summon it with the help of your home button.
